Tonight we launched a page for E! online called the Glam Cam. A Flash interface that updates video clips live as celebs walked the red carpet for the 2007 Golden Globes.
Users are able to rate celebs from 1-5 stars and compare their ratings to E! Staff ratings and user rating averages.
The video is using Move Networks streaming technologies layered on top of Flash using JavaScript to communicate from the Flash to the video player. This project was a tight turnaround so we didn’t have time to create a full-browser option, which is too bad since this video quality is amazing.
